Biography: Kari Stauss grew up in Minnesota and comes from a family of scientists. Both her mom and grandfather are engineers and helped foster her love of math and physics. Kari worked briefly as an engineer before pursing her dream to practice medicine.
Inspired by her family, Kari often volunteers in the community and always felt that she wanted to make a difference through her work. As a family medicine doctor, she is committed to getting to know each patient. She is passionate about helping people understand and navigate the complexities that can arise on a healthcare journey.
Dr. Stauss has a special interest in caring for women during the premenopausal and postmenopausal stages of life, providing compassionate guidance and care through these important transitions. She also enjoys supporting women’s reproductive health and values the diversity of patients and conditions that family medicine offers.
“I approach every new patient as if they were a member of my own family,” says Dr. Stauss. “I want my patients to know they have my full attention and genuine concern, whether we’re meeting for a single visit or working together over time.”
Outside of medicine, Kari is an avid reader who enjoys hiking both locally and while traveling. She also loves baking, especially her grandmother’s cherished lemon, apple, and French silk pie recipes.
